Mass File Conversion
« on: February 16, 2008, 04:28:32 pm »

I just finished ripping about 350 CD in FLAC to my harddrive.  I did this to archive in a lossless format.  Also, I just got my first high capacity (80 GB) MP3 player and would like to put all of this music on it.  My library is set-up as shown below:

K:\FLAC Music\[Artist]\[Album]\...

Is there a way to do a mass conversion to MP3 to sync to my iPod?  The only alternative I see is to load the sync list album-by-album.  This would seem to be very time consuming.  Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome to Interact.  Check the handheld options when you have the iPod connected.  You can convert to MP3 on-the-fly.  You can also set up a cache, so conversions are preserved on the PC.

Try a few before you do very many.
