I had a similar problem I traced back to imported playlists with MC13.  The embedded cover art "disappeared" from the tag of the files on the imported playlist (image field was blank).  I exported the subject playlists again (from MC12) as "ASX"...filenames only.....imported to MC13....and the image field returned (to "inside file") and the cover art was back.   ?

A flippant question deserves a flippant response  ;)
I thought Jims response was quite good.  He used the word probably.
I'd have wrote. "Album Art Not Embedded"

the album art that mc13 says does not exist is embedded and shows up in every other application i have tested with ( eg mp3 tag) and i have no problem with mc12 ( love it !!) - my solution is to stay with mc12 - i do not think i was being flippant - 4000  files reported as not possessing album art by mc13 that is in reality there is not flippant

If Jim was being flippant, then my marriage wouldn't have lasted one month, much less thirty-one years.

I recall one time early on when I came upon my wife all purple in the face, kicking at the vacuum cleaner
because it wouldn't work.  She was irate.

I said, "Probably not plugged in."

And it wasn't.  :-*

Hi Ken,

The internal image from that file is tagged as "other" image instead of "front cover" image so the new tag reader didn't use it.

The next preview of Media Center 13 will change this so it'll first try to use the front cover, but if that doesn't exist, it'll use any image type.

Thanks for your help,
-Matt
