input/suggestions wanted - weird vmr9 issue
« on: April 06, 2009, 02:55:24 pm »

I had to reinstall last week due to some odd malware issues. now on a clean xp install with cccp (latest) and mc 13 , vmr 9 produces a picture that is completely color shifted to the green spectrum. i can fix it by A) manipulating the hue slider, or b) using the Hali renderer.
any idea the same system with the same drivers would develop this issue due to a reinstall? i know you need more info, but i'm not sure what to give, so just ask and its yours.

Loose cables?  Cables reversed?

What OS?

Try changing DirectShow settings.  MC Options/Filetypes.

Right, i change it to Hali and all is good, i'm just confused as to why vmr9 stopped working on the same hardware with the same config.

With VMR9, after you change Hue value to fix it, then stop playback, exit MC, and restart MC.  Does the problem come back?  The change you make is saved in registry and will be applied when you restart playback.
