DLNA: can I adjust the user interface?
« on: January 04, 2010, 05:56:41 am »

When I call for MC's UPNP on my TV (Philips 9704), it shows up with 4 categories:
- audio
- images
- video
- playlists

The video-category shows the next items:
- Calendar
- File type/genre/name
- Genre/album/year
- disk location
- unassigned (that's what it says, yes)

First of all: the 'playlists' is a disaster. It shows it submenu after a very long time (I have a wired connection from my TV to my router).
Is that caused by the TV or by MC?

Second: is it possible to adjust the video-submenu? I'd like to make a category playlists there, for instance.

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the feedback.  There is a long thread on DLNA, Xbox and PS3.  Please post there.

Make sure you have the latest build from the top of this board.

Currently the DLNA server uses the same views as your main library.

In a coming version you'll be able to independently customize the DLNA views, much like Theater View.
