Can not install Media center 14 after a crash of the program.
« on: January 25, 2010, 09:43:50 pm »

I do not know what has happened. I reloaded the program. It comes up with a message that says that I had the program installed with a different OS. Reinstall the program. When reinstalled, the same message appears. HELP!!!!!

Try reinstalling your license.

Take a look at a similar topic on this board, from the last few days.

I have reinstalled jukebox 12. It works. I tried to reinstall 14 and all I get is a screen shot that tells me to try to reinstall. Message reads:
Warning. Media center was installed for as different operating system. Please, reinstall media center.
I have tried deleting the program. Reinstalling the progeam. Re downloading 14. Reinstalling. Finally I have reverted to 12. I thought it might need a older program to reload too.
This is stupid. I have been with you for many years. I don't like some of the other programs, but I will have no other choice. Is there no HELP??

Hey.  Sorry for the problem, but we don't know either.  If you'll be patient, we'll get it.

Please use this thread:
http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=55801.msg379446#msg379446

We'd like to know what's in the registry entry that Matt gave.  Please copy and paste it an e-mail to matt at jriver.com.

Thanks.
