Hi There,

I recently bought a new TV. Attached JRmediaCenter to it. Now when i go to theaterview the screen gets to big. That is: I don't see the top bar, the clock on the lower right anymore. They are off-screen. Also, when i switch to the Windows7 desktop, while in theaterview mode, i "lose" some screen. Once i go to normal view in JRM, then also windows gets back to normal.

Any ideas: I tried all TV settings on the TV (e.g. full zoom, automatic zoom, etc...) nothing works
On my others TV's i don't have any problems.

Try playing a video, right clicking on it and choosing "Display".  There you can try telling MC to use the "Desktop Resolution".

This is probably due to TV producers persistent use of overscan and underscan. It comes from the old CRT times, and have not been removed yet. Most normal is the overscan? where the actual image is to big for the TV to show. You're best option is to find a video mod on your TV that just displays everything 1:1. Try to disable any over or under-scan options if you can find it. You might also have a THX mode on your TV. This normally displays things correctly. Your other option might be to disable overscan on your graphic card. Search the producer for settings. Most GPU's also have the ability to resize the display and move it around, even though this gives you a not so cool resolution.
