Can we get a minor adjustment so that if you press ESC while either the Position Bar or OSD are currently onscreen that the respective control immediately closes? A second ESC press would do the normal "exit" behavior, of course, as would it any time those elements weren't actually showing.
This would be convenient. There are times when I open the OSD, perhaps accidentally, and then I can't use the left/right arrows to FF/RW until the OSD has timed out. This only takes a few seconds, but when you just want to skip back a few seconds to re-listen to some misheard utterance in a show... Well, the wait can be frustrating and interminable. Being able to quickly hide the Position bar manually seems less important, since it times out nicely and doesn't interfere with other use of the OSD, but you might as well while you're at it (and I'm sure it would be liked in some quarters).
Seems like a nice, simple usability change that Just Makes Sense.
