The almost 9 inch version of the Tab went on sale today at Best Buy for $469 (16GB).  They had them on Friday but they wouldn't sell me one.  Playing by the rules.

It's a little hard to justify buying one if you already have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.  It's only slightly different in size and weight.  It's exactly the same thickness.  But I'm looking for a tablet that is the best remote.  I use Gizmo, of course.

I like it.  It's a better size for a remote.  Maybe I'll feel differently in a few days, but the screen is still plenty big, and the device is easier to hold in one hand.

It has a different user interface than the 10.1.  It's Samsung's own and it's good.  I need a few days more to know how I feel.

It's Android 3.1.
