Does I will get the free upgrade to MC17 if I purchase the MC16 now?

Yes. Every purchase from the last weeks will include a MC17 license. But why purchase MC16 license, and not MC17 right away?

You can purchase with either MC16 or MC17.  You will get the same MC17 license with either.  It will also work with both.

Another question, what's the diff of portable install and standard install? Does I can install the portable version to a usb drive and bring the software to another PC to run?
