MC17 running under Windows XP Pro. Audio playback of flac files on local hard disk.
Output mode: kernel streaming
Device: HIFACE kernel streaming
Using M2Tech HiFace EVO for USB to SPDIF, then into AudioNote DAC.
If I press pause and then press stop MC freezes. The process is not responding. Cannot kill it. Have to reboot. Easy to reproduce this problem. Others seem to have reported similar, going back several versions. Cannot see any solution posted. Logs show nothing I can understand, (no "crash"). Cannot easily email logs as don't use Outlook!
