Problem restoring license

I just re installed Windows on my HTPC. I requested an updated license from the Restore page however when I try to load it in the new MC17 install it says Invalid license, error code=22. What should I do?

Make sure the version of MC matches the version of the license.

Use IE to restore.  Use copy and paste.

I.m sorry but it's not working.

I use MC17, never used an older version.
I used IE to go to https://rover.jriver.com/cgi-bin/restore.cgi and entered my Registration Code and clicked on Restore.
It did it's thing and gave me my registration code link (the code is the same as the one I entered).
It said it should have been installed automatically. It didn't.
I clicked on the link and still get the error=22.
I am not sure how you want me to cut and paste. I don't see where to paste in MC17.
The emails I get also give the same error=22.
