I recently upgraded to Version 19 and was pleased to see that there is now an option to resize the image to fit a larger screen but where is this option. I don't seem to have it in 'view' as I have seen mentioned in some posts and I don't seem to have it in 'tools' as mentioned in the Media Centre email received recently. Is this an add-on which I should now download or are updates automatically sent to subscribers? I should mention that I use a dedicated laptop for music which is not connected to the internet at any time.

Make sure you have the latest MC19.  Switch to the Noire skin.

I seem to have 19 19.0.32 which is obviously earlier than required, so I guess I need to download again - is that how it works?

That version is fine, but the current version of MC is 19.0.96.

That's fine if you aren't having any trouble.  It is what we call the "stable" build.  They only update that version every so often, after it has been "in the wild" for a while (and to avoid annoying users with constant "there's an update available" prompts).

There is also the "latest" build, which is always available "pinned" to the top of this forum.  If you are ever having trouble, the first step to try is to update to the most recent current build from the forum.  If you want to be notified when there is a new "latest" build available, you can switch Options > Startup > Update Channels to Latest.

Strange. I connected my music laptop to the internet, opened MC and went  HELP > UPDATE CHANNELS > CHECK FOR UPDATES and now have the message 'Media Centre is up to date (19.0.67)'. I'm here on the forum on a general/house laptop so will not use this one to update - but why would MC19 on the other machine be saying it's up to date when it obviously is not? It did bring things partially to date - I now have the size option - but why not the latest. Confused.
