Random freezes and now a Runtime error

 Ever since the last update I've been getting random freezes of MC19. They seem to occur when I have MC19 running but haven't used for a while and when Windows has come out of logout. Today I had a freeze but with a Runtime error for the first time. Never had this before and I have even reinstalled windows to try and fix!

Anyone have any ideas?

We've seen a lot of problems recently with antivirus programs:

You could try to look at the log file.  The wiki has a topic on logging.

What version are you using?  Your signature says 19.0.67.  19.0.100 is available at the top of this board.

Hi Jim

Sadly, the latest version has not fixed my problem.

I've had a few thoughts. I'm guessing that my problem is an anti-virus issue and I am using Bitdefender. Bitdefender has a few options such as excluding certain files and folders from being monitored by the software. I have now added the two folders that MC19 uses and will see if that fixes the problem. Also, Bitdefender has an option to exclude processes and wonder if that might help. Could you tell me which processes I should exclude if you think it worth trying?

Uninstall Bitdefender, just to test.  If it is the problem, report it to them.
