no sound [solved]

I have no sound now for some reason. I didn't change anything. the songs are playing but when I check the playback defaults there is no sound getting to it. how should it be setup going out to my dac. it is driving me crazy.

Brain fart, I was switching between xlr and rca cables during the last listening session and forgot to switch it back to the current cable selection. That was driving me nuts. The switch is very small on my headphone amp that you don't notice it unless your looking for it. After all it couldn't have been the alcohol! Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
