Playback issues
« on: January 06, 2015, 08:44:04 pm »

Hi,
I'm having issues playing my ripped regular dvds but not blurays: when I play regular dvds, they play ok BUT if I try to change chapter or move ff/rwd, JRiver freezes and I have to re-start the program again. If I play blurays they work perfect .... any idea why this happens?, thanks in advance

Are the files local or on server? I seem to remember that there was a post somewhere here that MS DVD navigator has some bugs if files are not local...

Thnaks for reply my question. No, they are in an external HDD. Is weird is that if I hit play I can see them, but as soon as I decide to mpve forward or backward or change chapters it freezes in 90% of the times, and have to go to the task manager and there I can see that the program " is not responding" . Remeber, this happens only with regular ripped dvds, not blurays that palys perfect.

I had a Zune at one time and was unhappy with it so I started useing itunes and pulled all my zune music files to itunes . I was unable to play the music from Zune on my itunes. And now I am useing JRiver MediaCenter and still can not play the Zune files ?

My ripped music and itunes music play on JRiver but none of my Zune music.

Any ideas or converting software ?

Zune files were only playable on Zune.

You could try an Internet search to see if anyone knows a way to convert them.
