I've used products from companies before where "support" was from a forum, and people from the company were nowhere to be found (and so the forum is filled with half-hearted people who can't really help you, just commiserate).

It isn't like that here. As I mentioned above, within less than a day, you got a reply from the CEO of the company. The lead programmers at JRiver spend a
ton of time here on the forums, helping and looking for feedback. It is a very community driven application. And doing support here means that next time someone comes along and can't figure out how to set up JRemote with the iPad held in landscape mode?
They might find this thread with a search. If they don't, we can point them to it.
So, dive in. Ask if you have further questions. MC is a very deep and powerful application. Almost everything about it can be customized.
