TV / DVR Resources
« on: August 11, 2014, 10:43:00 pm »

All,

Sorry if this info is already out there. I couldn't find it. But I'm trying to evaluate if MC is now in a better place to replace my sage tv setup.  At one point MC didn't support FireWire stb channel changes or the ability to call an external app that could do this for me. Is this still the case?

Also, does MC now have the ability to record the live tv buffer if you decide you want to keep what's been playing?

Finally, is there good metadata scraping for  your own video files you import? (Ie.. Using thetvdb, imdb, etc...)

Thanks for the time all.

Most of it is from what I can make out. The Wiki covers a fair swag of your stuff I think:

Other Interact entries:
TV Devices Supported
NEW: Get Movie and TV Info

I'll leave you to sift through that and work out what's of use.

Not sure - I don't play in that sand pit. Appears that your previous ask didn't get very far:

astromo,
Thanks for digging out all the links.  I stickied this because it's probably a general question many may have.

No worries.

I'm a bit of a Wiki nut. You might have noticed?
