mc31 video playback failure same as mc28
JimH:
RTWorkQ.DLL is a Windows file. Your OS may not be working correctly. Try a Google search, but be careful in following instructions. A search at Microsoft would be best.
aeneuman:
there is nothing specific about RTWorkQ.DLL on microsoft. I checked and I have both the 32 and 64bit versions on my computer. Troubleshooting doesn't turn up anything. I would add the failure to run videos in MC28 and 31 doesn't appear to generate Windows logs. Only the failure of the Video Editor to open video files that JRiver itself ripped successfully generates an error file as posted above.
Awesome Donkey:
What's the specs of your PC? Mainly the CPU in this case, and what version of Windows are you using?
blgentry:
I thought this was about playing video. The specifics posted say "Media Editor". What's that all about? Does the windows version of MC have a basic editor or something?
Brian.
aeneuman:
There are two things malfunctioning on my computers. MC28 and 31 do not play videos but audio functions play normally. MC 25 plays videos and audio normally. Second, the Video Editor function accessed from the JRiver Menu is getting an error when it tries to open a video file ripped by JRiver itself successfully. The first problem in MC28/31 only does not generate a Windows log that I can see. Only the malfunctioning of the JRiver Video Editor generates a Windows log as I posted above.
Again I note that other video players perform normally on my computer with no errors or hangs.
