2 error messages
« on: April 10, 2004, 10:42:38 pm »

I have MC load minimized at startup. It worked smoothly like that for weeks but just recently, I started getting the following error msgs: "Can not create system tray icon", followed by "The server is busy, switch to the other application". The first error msg I get every startup and the second error msg is only a sometimes thing. When I check in Task Manager, it is loaded but there is no tray icon. If I shut it down and restart it, it acts normally.

I have MC 10..111. What do these messages mean and why do I get this behaviour?

Bump:
Why do I get this error message when I put Media Jukebox.exe in my startup folder? I have it set to start up minimized and I have tray icon option set in MC.

I am running MC ver 10.0.112 on Win XP Pro. Thanks in advance.

Sometimes the answer is "I don't know", but often people will wait for others to give a better one.

Did you recently install new software?  There are some system tray utilities that could conceivably cause issues...

No, no new software. The only new thing was trying to put it in my startup folder.

If it can't be done, that's fine, I will start it manually each time. I just wanted to know if this is unique to my setup or has somebody else found this and knows a solution.

Thank you both for replying.
