Hi

MC 11.1.133 donīt install. After show de plugin install screen,  it close and nothing does happen.
Need I uninstall previous version (11.1.111)?
I have Custom resources, like portuguese translation installed with language.txt, etc. Need I remove it previously?

tks... I look this thread, and the threads about install problems, but donīt works.
- I stop all anty-spy (MS Anti-spy).
- I stop AVG-Antivirus
- I shutdown all unnecessary programs with task manager, like IE, Outlook, Printer softwares, scanner soft, Database soft, remote desktop programs, etc.
- I verify all real-time programs, like: anti-span, anti-popup, anti-spy, firewall, etc, and nothing was more running.
- I clear temporary IE files/History/Cookies
- I Clear  all my temp files in user temp directory
Nothing happens.
- I uninstall MC.
- delete JRiver directory
- reboot my computer
- Install MC
It works, but now, it donīt start: nothing happens when I try start the program.
Previously I never had problems with install.
I donīt know what I can doing now. Can you help me?

That sounds familliar.... Do you get this error when uninstalling?

Really, when I uninstall MC I had this problem: system returns this error.
After uninstall, before I look JRiver directory and the JRShellExt.dll was not deleted. I try delete it and donīt works. I can delete it only after reboot.
But after new install it also donīt works.

PS:
Now I download the previous version (131) and install it.
And It works!

Ok, 131 does install..... Did you ever have audioscrobbler installed?
I think this may be a problem with the uninstallation of that plugin.....

I have did a full uninstall, removed registry entries, but when 131 opens, it says that Plugin Audioscrobbler cannot be created.
When I goto the plugin section, it still lists the Audioscrobbler plugin??? odd, and you cannot uninstall it..... I have comepletely deleted the plugin folder.

Well this fixed the problem:

Now, I still seem to have the Audioscrobbler lugin installed... I figured the uninstall and reinstall would have gotten rid of this....
If I click on Uninstall from within MC it says can't find interface plugin...... How can I kill this **Insert a bunch of nasty words** plugin?

I got it...

I was looking for the Plugin under MediaCenter, not MediaJukebox.....
