Podcasts not syncing to Nano 5G
« on: October 23, 2010, 05:13:28 pm »

I cannot get my podcasts to show up on my iPod Nano 5th Gen.  Using MC 15.0.95.  I drop the files into the "drop files here" marker, the sync proceeds, checking the Device directory in MC15 shows them there, but once I eject, the podcasts aren't there.

How do you sync podcasts between MC15 and an iPod Nanon 5g? is there.

Update to MC15.0.171 and then take a look at the sync via iTunes in our list of MC15 features.

Apple makes this difficult for other developers.  Consider another type of player next time.

Where do I find this:  "..sync via iTunes in our list of MC15 features."    ?

Thank you

The list is on the MC15 board, near the top.

The feature is here:

I got this to work.  Thanks very much.

I read the whole "Support for iPhone Playlist Sync" thread at http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=57275.0 and the only change I needed to make was that I had to open iTunes first, before doing the File >Export to iTunes in MC15.  Otherwise my iPod doesn't show up as a possible destination to be check-boxed.

Thanks again.
