QUALITYBuild 18.0.187 and above are stable. Sound quality is excellent.
APPEARANCEEarly builds were a direct port from Windows, so they looked like a Windows program. We're steadily making the program look more Mac-like.
SCOPEVersion 18 and 19 will not include video. The first builds are audio only, and some features may be unavailable. A few may never be available. When the feature set is more complete, we expect to add images, but this may not be a free upgrade. Video support will take longer, perhaps as much as a year.
Media Network features are now working.
FEATURESSee the "Scope" paragraph just above. We don't have a detailed list or a detailed plan at this time, so we may not answer questions about specific features that you would like. Our goal is for MC Mac Version 18 to provide an audio experience that is equal to that of the Windows version.
LICENSEThe cost of a license is $49.98.
Licensing was introduced in build 154. This version and later require a license. Any new build of MC18 for Mac is free if you have purchased MC18. Just download and install. There is no need to uninstall. Your data will be preserved.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSOSX Software: OSX 10.6.8 should now work. 10.6.7 may not.
Hardware: Intel based Mac capable of running one of the above mentioned systems.
PRICEIt is $49.98.
While the price is discounted, there will be no additional discount offered for anyone who has previously purchased a Windows license. We may revisit this later.
