In the main Media Center window go to the Tools menu then select Options... When the Options window is open go to the Media Network section and check the Enable Media Network to share this library and enable DLNA option. This enables Media Network (you may need to close and reopen MC if you can't connect via Media Network). Just follow the instructions and get then use the access key it gives you.

Yes, you need to turn on Media Network, but be sure you have installed MC32 first. |

I've been using MC for years but only just started to have a serious look at Theatre View a couple of days ago.
I'm currently trying to make sense of the new active templates provided in MC32. At present, the only option is 'Default' and I can't see a way to save that under a new name, so how do I create a custom template? EDIT: I noticed there was a 'theater view file info templates.2.4.xml' file stored in the Backup folder, so I saved that under another name in the Templates folder, which made it visible as an alternative to the Default template. Is this the normal way to create a custom template? |

Media Network and things like DLNA and UPnP in general only works over a network with ethernet and Wi-Fi, it's not going to be possible to do it via Bluetooth. You can create a local network (LAN) with Wi-Fi without internet access and it'll function that way with MC and Media Network.

Play Doctor requires a track selection.
I select a track -then Right click and highlight More Play Options - then highlight fourth option down. Remote control of Laptop requires connectivity (Wi Fi LAN). Perhaps, Bluetooth paring, but not aware it exists currently? |

Hi everybody
I've just received an e-mail w/ subject "JRiver Media Center 33 Master License", emitted by "wave <buy-button@jriver.com>", and links in the message text which look like regular JRiver links (download, restore, etc...). But considering JRiver current version is 32, and, browsing Interact, I don't hear of any version 33 available, this looks like phishing... What do you think ? |

A signature of the incompetent ripper... you're assuming it's not self-ripped You can try this: https://checkmate.gissen.nl/ Note that it detects corrupt files, but not exactly "bad rips". That is, it checks the file structure and frame integrity, but doesn't help if the recorded data was already bad to begin with (which is more likely the problem). |
