I import new media files via Drives & Devices, not Library > Import, so am not an expert on that process, but your entry in the 'Apply these tags' section doesn't look like any of the examples quoted in https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Tag_on_Import.

Does "Filename (path):\\192.168.0.124\DriveD2\Music\[Artist]\[Album]" actually move your imported media files to that new location?

You need to use the Custom rule in the Add Rules section and build your own test that way.

Custom: [=compare([last played],>,load(gvRandom)]]=1

Or something like that.  It quite often helps to add an expression column to your view and work on this expression there until you have it right, and then move it into the smartlist rules, otherwise you spend a lot of time fiddling with that dialogue while you work through the code.

The stuff in the [] is your test - the =1 outside is the smartlist test for positivity, ie if your rule is true and the result should be included.

Matt,
I think we should back out these changes.  I believe the pages are generated on our Cloudplay server.

I also set MC's double-click behavior to show file properties, and what you describe is the way it has worked for long as I can remember (over fifteen years), so probably not a bug.  Since single-clicking an item in the queue shows the file properties (assuming you have the tag window open already) I imagine this is the intended behavior.

It's not the password for your email account that it means. When you buy a license for Media Center, during the checkout process it asks you to create a password and that's the password it's talking about and asking for.

So it's the email address you used to purchase, along with the password it asked you to create during the checkout process. If the password isn't known I think there's a recovery process, unless I'm mistaken.

This works great - except when it doesn't.  If I'm looking at a bunch of files in most views, double clicking brings up the properties menu. Great.

But in the "Playing Now" view, double clicking plays whatever I've double clicked, instead of bringing up the the properties menu. Is this a "feature" or is it a bug?

Thank you for your reply.

I don't understand the part in the upgrade form that asks for my email address and password. I only have one email address and I prefer not to send in the password for that address.

So do I need to create a new email address or do I type in my existing email address?

If I use an existing email address and give you the password to that address, then I lose my security for my email.

What should I enter for an email address and password??

Yes, right click while a film is playing, however the only thing I dont like is its universal and doesnt save for just the film thats playing. I believe it should only apply to the film and save to that film, not all!
