MC install file downloaded with Firefox won't work
From Yaobing...
Quote
I have seen a strange behavior I thought I'd mention.  This is only a Firefox issue.  When downloading MC builds on my Win7 system, using right-click "Save link as..." and choosing a network hard drive (on a different computer, shared and mapped) to save the file to, the resulting download would not work.  When the installer is run, the publisher is reported as "unknown", and it usually does not extract files correctly.  It will work if I click the link directly, which saves the file to the default Downloads folder.  There is no problem if I use IE, or Google Chrome.

Another freeze
May be related to a virus checker looking at files on a USB drive.

Freeze when converting from FLAC to MP3
Caused by Acronis backup software.  Could probably cause other freezes.

Hi i was unable to start a new topic as i am new to the forum hence posting my query on this topic . I have started ripping my CDs using .aif . I have noted that in MC 18 it says that .aif are recorded and played back as 44.1KHz and 16 bits. It is possible to change it to 44.1KHZ and 24 bits?

Have recently introduced some DSF files into my library and I'm using the proscribed "POP"procedure via WASAPI (event style) and USBpal to drive my MyTEL Stereo192-DSD DAC .  Both type of files (pcm and dsd) works fine except when playing a pcm track followed by as dsd track.  When I do this I get a full volume series of short pops (very scary actually). I have made adjustments to the WASAPI by checking the box "add a little silence....." which helped a lot but a single really loud (potentially damaging) POP gets through.  Is there anything to be done about this.  Perhaps a parameter to make the  "add a little silence" just a bit longer??

Thanks for the help

I am a new JRiver user and I am having problems ripping DVD's. I am using Any DVD HD, my first rip was a Blu-ray, no problem. My next two were DVD's, no problem. Since then 3 out of 4 (different DVD'), attempts resulted in DVD Failure after it got to 80% to 98% complete. We tried slowing down to 4x, it didn't help. Please help!
