Uninstall the DivX decoder or configure MC so the FFDShow Video decoder is used instead of DivX Video Decoder

Video Problems -- blanking out, distorting images and showing random characters
Bad Nvidia Chip?  8400M and 8600M.  Some Sony notebooks have this problem.  Probably others.
